Dina was born in Colorado Springs, CO and lived in Chicago and Vista, New York before moving to Manhattan to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her first memory of art is coloring along while watching cartoons as a young toddler. In one form or another art has been central to her life ever since. At FIT Dina recognized that her artistic expression was best realized on the canvas or the page. She soon transferred to the School of Visual Arts where she earned a BFA.
Dina began a successful career as an art director in publishing (GQ, Esquire, Travel + Leisure), while continuing to work in her studio and at The Art Students League. In 1997 she opened White Space NYC, as a design studio, which later expanded into Atmosphere NYC. Dina began to focus exclusively on painting and in 2011 began the MFA program at SUNY New Paltz. Dina lives and works in a converted diary barn in Gardiner, NY
